Shani was very excited about her big day and we were also talking about ideas for an engagement shoot as part of the wedding package as well. The marketing experts will tell you, not every client is “your” client, based on niche or other variables, but after about five minutes I had come to the conclusion, this was “my” client! Shani and Kwame did their research and choose Sapple’s Photography!!! (drop confetti here!!!) 

Engagement shoots are definitely a favorite of mine and this one may have topped the charts. I get to capture those special emotions in a context that’s not a as tied to the clock as the wedding day. At our meeting and several phone calls later we decided on location, theme, Make-Up Artist, wardrobe, and props! I was happy that we got a chance to work with Shani and Kwame. These guys worked the concept to the hilt! Here are some of the totally awesome images from the engagement session we covered.
